"not older than 1 Ma" and from "the first half of he Middle Pleistocene... starting from MIS 19" based on biochronology: shown on a chart as within the range of MIS 19 to MIS 17 and roughly 0.7 to 0.8 Ma, consistent with the boundaries of these two stages

Lithology: siliciclastic (mixed)

Taphonomic context: carnivore accumulation, cave, rodent accumulation

Habitat comments: a "closed karstic cavity filled with loose deposits" and this bed is specifically "Ocherous-yellow heavy loam and yellow intermediate loam, with a brown tint... The middle part of the bed displaces traces of activity by large digging animals. The lower part of the bed contains strongly weathered pebbles... Teeth and bones of large mammals are regularly scattered throughout... small mammals... are rather scarce. The bed is up to 1.0-1.3 m in total thickness" and was "formed by diluvial-proluvial processes"
the coprolites are "of hyenas... the cave was periodically inhabited and occupied at least by hyenas and porcupines"
human artefacts are not mentioned and presumably absent
