Type specimen: NIGP L91446(7), an exoskeleton (complete female in lateral aspect). Its type locality is Nanligezhuang, Tuanwang Town, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Mus.), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China.
