Type specimen: IGM-4911, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with p4–m2). Its type locality is 1.7km ENE of Santiago Yolomécatl, which is in an Uintan fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Yolomécatl Formation of Mexico.
